This process is called “Foreign Qualification”, and it involves filing Application for Certificate of Authority with the Nebraska Secretary of State.

Keep in mind, foreign entity is required to appoint and maintain a registered agent in Nebraska on file at all times in order to be in good standing.

REMEMBER: Nebraska requires that every company filing an application for a new business entity publish an article in a local legal newspaper of general circulation near the registered office of the company for three consecutive weeks.
