Questions about S-Corporation

Asked by: Paul McLaskey  — 6 January, 2011

Two other questions, if I may:
1. Can an S corp. be set up with only ONE stockholder?
2. Can an S corp. own an LLC?
Many Thanks…

Paul,

The answer to both of your questions is yes. You be the sole stockholder of an S-corporation and an S-corporation can be a member (owner) of an LLC.
